      Description

The attraction and holding of the magnetic pieces are obtained feeding the coil inside the solenoid. When the power supply stops the electromagnet looses the piece. When working with hanged loads security norms must be respected.

      Under demand

      • Clamping screw from VEM25, connector from VEM65
      • The connector (1) can be placed in 4 positions (4×90º) and retifying dyodes can be added for alternarting current (AC) power supply

IMPORTANT: THE CLAMPING SCREW DOES NOT TO HAVE TO EXCEED THE MEASURE D

The data shown in the chart are the Magnetic Force (Fm) values depending on the air gap, measured in the following conditions:

      • Direct current supply
      • Flat piece (3 µm rugosity) in AºSt37 and thickness as shown
      • Room temperature 35ºC
      • Coil working on its regime temperature when operating

The dimensions of the pieces used in the test are similar or bigger than the attraction face of the different holding electromagnets. At different conditions, the magnetic force (Fm) may decrease. The value of the magnetic remanence after the power supply stops is 5% of the holding rate.

When lifting or handling heavy loads a minimum security margin of 3 must be respected, the weight of the load cannot exceed 33% of the magnetic force.
